Summary
Spocket is a game-changing supplier and product sourcing app to take your dropshipping business to the next level. It offers many competitive advantages you can leverage to outperform your competitors. It grants you access to better products, faster shipping times, personal branding, and excellent customer support, among others.
Welcome to my in-depth Spocket dropshipping review.
Over the last couple of years, dropshipping has been rumored to die due to barriers like bad product quality, slow shipping times, manual order fulfillment, and more.
The arrival of Spocket changed everything.
In this Spocket tutorial, I will cover everything you need to know, including the app’s eye-catching advantages, how it works, unique features, and whether it’s worth the hype.
Without further ado, let’s get started.
What is Spocket?
Spocket is a tool and marketplace that makes life easy for dropshippers. The marketplace is great for finding high-quality products and adding them to dropshipping stores with one click.
It also allows dropshippers to automate many activities, including helping them streamline their sales, automate order fulfillment, create branded invoices, and more.
Spocket Dropshipping Review: 10 Reasons You Should Use it for Dropshipping
While many people think dropshipping is dying, Spocket has revolutionized the business model. Below are why Spocket is a good dropshipping platform.
1. Ease of Use
Spocket is very easy to use. To start using the platform, you only need to sign up for the 14-day free trial (no credit card required).
After signing up, you will have access to your sleek dashboard that allows you to run many of your dropshipping activities. You will also find a 4-step onboarding tour guide that shows you around the platform.
I also love that the tabs on the dashboard are few and self-explanatory that even first-time users know exactly what they are used for.
And connecting your online store to Spocket is also stress-free; Spocket works with most of the popular e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Square, Wix, BigCommerce, etc.
Here is how to connect your online store with Spocket:
- Login to your Spocket account
- Next, click on the “My Shop” button on the bottom-left side of the page
- Find your e-commerce store builder and follow click on “Connect Store.”
- Go through the authorization step and select “Accept” to enable Spocket to integrate with your store.
- Afterward, go to settings and navigate to the store tab where you can find your connected store and manage your Spocket plan.
Overall, Spocket allows you to perform all your dropshipping activities from a single dashboard.
2. Extensive Product Catalog
One of the reasons Spocket is gradually becoming dropshippers’ best friend is because of its product quality. There is no way your dropshipping business will thrive if you sell mediocre products.
Spocket gives you access to better products, better return, better communication, sample policies, and more.
Aside from the quality, Spocket also runs quite an extensive product database covering a variety of categories, including:
- Bath and beauty
- Jewelry and watches
- Kids and babies
- Men’s and women’s clothing
- Tech accessories
- Toys
- Pets
- Footwear
- Accessories
- Automotive
- Bags and wallets
- Festivals and parties
- Gifts
- Sports and outdoors
- Home and garden
- Seasonal
There is also a category called “trending” that gives you access to products with upward sales trends.
Depending on your plan, you can also access “premium products,” which are usually the best-selling and offer mouth-watering discounts (30 – 60%). Moreover, you can add these products to your store with one click.
When searching for products on the Spocket marketplace, you will see the premium products marked with a premium logo at the bottom of the product image.
One thing with the premium products is that they have a higher conversion rate and increase your profit margin because the Spocket team specially selects them.
I should also mention that 60% of Spocket products are manufactured in the US and Europe. So if your customers are from these regions, you can deliver products to them faster.
3. Deal with Vetted Suppliers
The only way Spocket’s marketplace is filled with top-notch products is because of its trusted suppliers.
Becoming a Spocket supplier is very hard. The screening process is brutal, and suppliers that are not serious will definitely give up along the way.
Here is how the process goes.
First, every aspiring supplier must submit a detailed application form. They will then be scheduled for an online interview so the Spocket team can know more about their products and check if it meets specific requirements like availability, pricing, etc.
Next, Spocket will request that the supplier send their product to them for proper testing and validation to see if it’s worthy of a spot on their marketplace. Finally, Spocket might schedule a physical interview with the supplier if there is any doubt.
By now, you should have gotten it that, unlike AliExpress, Spocket cares so much about product quality. As a result, any item you find on their marketplace has passed through a thorough validation process.
To make your life easier as a dropshipper, Spocket vet and rate suppliers based on their processing and shipping times and product quality. This means you can quickly know which product is better than the other.
You can also check suppliers’ profiles to review their return and refund policies.

4. Simplified Sample Ordering
Depending on how serious you take your dropshipping business, you will agree that ordering and testing products you want to dropship are not steps to neglect.
However, doing this on a marketplace like AliExpress is hectic. You won’t have enough information about the supplier, and the product can take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
Spocket, however, understands this pain and compels its suppliers to simplify sample ordering. You can order samples (which take 2 – 3 days to arrive), verify shipment policies, critically inspect products, and take personalized photos you can add as product images.
Once you find a product you love on the marketplace, check the product description and click “order samples” to order a sample.
Then a popup will appear asking you to input the number of samples you want to order and verify the cost and shipping fee.
5. Better Return Policies
If you have run your dropshipping business with an app like Oberlo before, you will understand how frustrating the return policies are. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to resolve with your suppliers, and your only option will be to open disputes with AliExpress.
These bad return and refund policies were killing dropshipping businesses until Spocket came into the picture.
Spocket suppliers generally have fantastic return policies. I have to give them that.
I also appreciate that Spocket can overturn its suppliers’ policies if something is incorrect, unfairly damaged, sent to the wrong address, or late. Even though you can’t contact these suppliers, Spocket will do all the work on your behalf.
Honestly speaking, this alone is time-saving and gives you peace of mind. Think of it like this: With AliExpress suppliers, refunds are lost sales, and they are just minor headaches with Spocket.
It’s also worth mentioning that you should always check suppliers’ refund policies. Some suppliers don’t offer refunds for certain products. Spocket can’t help you in this case.
6. Adding Products to Store is a Breeze
Once you have connected your store to Spocket, it takes only 3 steps to add products from its marketplace to your store.
First, you need to head to Spocket’s product catalog to find items you want to sell on your store. If you find a product you will love to drop ship, place your cursor on it and click “add to import list.“
You can go back to your dashboard to check the products you’ve added to your list, review them and customize their settings to meet your test. Spocket lets you modify the following:
- Product name
- Product description
- Product type
- Profit margin
- Product tag
- Product images
- The collection the product will be part of
- Variants (size, colors, etc.)
I will always recommend that you leverage these customization settings to your best advantage. For example, your product name and description should be solid enough to convince buyers to open their wallets.
Another setting you want to take seriously is the profit margin. The good news is that Spocket lets you mark up the original product prices automatically, using the “Global Pricing Rules“.
You have three ways to do these:
- Percentage: You can set a certain percentage as your profit margin. For example, if you choose 50%, an item that costs $40 from the manufacturer will be listed on your store as $60.
- Multiplier: You can choose how many times the manufacturer price you want. If you set it as 2X, a $40 product will be priced at $80.
- Amount: Even though most people don’t use this, you can set a fixed profit for items you want to import to your store. For example, if you insert $10 as the fix, a $40 item will change to $50.
The global pricing rule is one of the best features of Spocket. The fact that you don’t have to worry about updating product prices manually is a big time-saver. Even if the manufacturers change their prices in the future, yours will update automatically.
7. Supports Branded Invoicing
If you are building a brand you want to nurture for years, then Spocket’s branded invoicing feature will sound appealing to you. Moreover, a study shows that 80% of customers identify brand trust as the deal-breaker.
Spocket lets you create a custom invoice with your store’s name, logo, email, phone number, and a personal note.
There is no doubt that this will create more emotional connections between you and your customers and lead to recurring sales.
8. Fast Shipping Time
Have you ever tried AliExpress for dropshipping? If you have, you should know it takes 14 – 30 days to get a product delivered to your customers.
This usually leads to a high number of returns and kills your business. In fact, we can attribute most of the failed dropshipping businesses to AliExpess’s delayed shipping time.
With Spocket, your days of waiting for 14 – 30 days to get a product delivered are over. Instead, you can be confident that your customers will receive their items within 2 – 5 days.
Glory be to God…bye-bye AliExpress, we will not miss you.
The sweet part is that 65% of customers are willing to pay more for faster delivery times. This means you can increase your profit margin.
If you found Spocket before your competitors, have fun outshining them. I bet they can’t compete with your new shipping time.
In fact, you should add it somewhere very visible on your store that “delivery is between 2 – 5 days”. I found this to be super effective, and I think you should try it.
9. Smooth Order Fulfillment
In the olden era of dropshipping, we manually sent every order (including product name, customer’s name, address, number, etc.) to our suppliers. This could take all day, depending on the number of orders you receive daily.
But now, thanks to Spocket for automating the order fulfillment process. Once your customers enter their details at the checkout and make payment, all you need to do is hit “confirm,” and Spocket will forward it to the suppliers.
You can find new orders in the “My Orders” tab.
Spocket also provides you a tracking ID per product purchased so you can know when it leaves the warehouse and gets to the customer.
Another cool feature worth mentioning is the automatic inventory update. You can know the status of the products on your store. Let’s say a supplier is running out of product, you can quickly switch to another one or mark the product as unavailable.
10. Insane Support
Spocket customer support is fire. You can reach them 24/7 via email and live chat. In addition, you can find answers to 90% 0f your questions from their help center articles.
Overall, their support service is outstanding and active.
How Does Spocket Work?

How Much Does Spocket Cost?
For this part of this Spocket dropshipping review, we will examine how much it costs to use the platform.
Spocket monthly pricing could be anywhere between $24 – $99. Of course, annual payment gives you a heavy discount. And all the plans support a no-credit card 14-day free trial.
Here is a detailed breakdown.
1. Free Plan
Like its name, this plan is 100% free. But it’s utterly useless for dropshippers.
What it does is that it allows you to browse the product catalog to see if you can find anything you wish to sell. It also allows you to import products from AliExpress to your store using the AliScraper extension.
Maybe not 100% useless after all.
If you own a dropshipping store, this is undoubtedly not enough.
2. Starter Plan
The Starter plan costs $24 per month. It allows you to add 25 unique products from Spocket’s marketplace to your store.
It also gives you access to 24/7 live chat and email support.
To be honest, I did not recommend this plan if you are dropshipping on a larger scale. You will surely need more than 25 products on your store.
However, the starter plan is a good start if you are just building your dropshipping business and you sell less than 25 products.
3. Pro Plan
The Pro plan costs $49 per month or $24 per year if you pay annually (that is $288 per year).
This plan allows you to import 250 unique products from Spocket’s marketplace to your store.
Remember the Premium Products I said are best-selling and offer high discounts? The Pro plan allows you to add 25 of them to your store.
Branded invoicing is also only available to users on this plan and higher.
4. Empire Plan
Spocket’s empire plan costs $99.99 per month or $57 per month when billed yearly ($684 annually).
With this plan, you can add 10,000 unique products and 10,000 premium products to your store. This is an upgrade from the Pro plan.
5. Unicorn Plan
The Unicorn plan costs $984 per year, with no monthly payment option.
This plan gives you access to everything on the Empire plan and more.
Additional features accessible with this plan include supplier sourcing, product requests (you can request that a new product be added to the marketplace), and bulk checkout (you can check out multiple orders with one click).
The Unicorn plan is most suitable for merchants selling thousands of items per month.

Is Spocket Good for Dropshipping – Final Words
From all indications, it’s evident that Spocket is a game-changing supplier and product sourcing app to take your dropshipping business to the next level. It offers many competitive advantages you can leverage to outperform your competitors.
Who doesn’t love selling better products, faster shipping times, personal branding, and excellent customer support, among others?
All the features listed above are what make an e-commerce business succeed.
We can say the Spocket team carefully identified all the pain points of AliExpress dropshipping and solved them with their platform. Because if a platform like Spocket does not surface, and we all rely on AliExpress, dropshipping will be dead by now.
While I agree that Spocket doesn’t come at a cheap price among dropshipping apps, you will also agree that Bugatti isn’t cheap among cars. Higher value, higher price.
I am dropping the pen….this marks the end of my Spocket dropshipping review.
